The versatile and efficient production machine with CNC control
The Series 4 CNC round bending machines have two linearly adjustable bending rolls in addition to the top and bottom rolls. This design ensures high-quality rounding with minimized bending end. In combination with our CNC control, this is the most flexible round bending concept on the market and allows a high variety of parts without tooling costs. These machines are used both in simple manufacturing environments and in complex networked production plants.
The machines feature a robust electromechanical drive concept with asynchronous three-phase motors and frequency converters in all linear axes. The same concept is used for the rotary drive, where all rollers are additionally synchronized via a gear train. The machine body consists of a stable steel structure that absorbs the bending forces. The 4 rollers are made of highly tempered steel; the roller surface is hardened and ground. The top roller is firmly mounted on the drive side in the quick-change device, which enables the top roller to be replaced within a very short time. The folding bearing is pneumatically operated.
The modern CNC control has a graphical programming interface that enables automatic program creation by means of technology tables. These tables are pre-filled by our process engineers using modern analysis concepts, so that the customer already has a basic set of technology data for his specific plates at the time of delivery. The design and manufacture is carried out in accordance with the current CE specifications.
